United Robotics Group (URG) announces the agreement to acquire a majority stake in Robotnik Automation S.L.L. (Robotnik), a leading-edge provider of technologies in mobile service robotics, headquartered in Valencia, Spain.
With this acquisition, United Robotics Group advances its strategy of asserting the leading position in the European robotics market through organic growth and acquisitions.
Robotnik Automation has a 20-year track record in design, manufacturing and marketing mobile robots and mobile manipulators. The technology and quality in products and services have established the company’s presence in international markets such as Korea, Japan, China, Singapore, USA, France, Germany and Italy. Additionally, the company has a strong reputation for the development of engineering and R&D projects.
