Robótica marítima

DESCRIPCIÓN

Los océanos cubren el 70% de la superficie terrestre y albergan numerosas fuentes de recursos . Ante la creciente escasez de recursos en la superficie, la explotación de los oceános y de sus recursos submarinos es cada día más deseable.

La complejidad del medio y las condiciones extremas dificultan el desempeño de misiones y actividades. El avance de la robótica permite que se puedan realizar actividades marítimas que previamente no estaban al alcance del ser humano. Es por ello fundamental, el desarrollo de sistemas robóticos u operados remotamente, que permitan la explotación sostenible de los recursos marinos.

El Grupo Temático de Robótica Marítima (GTRM) de HispaRob pretende agrupar a aquellos de sus miembros que están interesados en el desarrollo, certificación y comercialización, tanto de plataformas, sistemas y equipos para el desarrollo de robots y vehículos autónomos marinos y submarinos (UUVs, USVs, ROVs, etc.); como su diseño y fabricación, así como su uso o prestación de servicios en el ámbito de la robótica marina y submarina.

OBJETIVOS

El GTRM busca impulsar el desarrollo de la robótica marina y submarina, para lograrlo tiene los siguientes objetivos:

  • Fomentar el desarrollo de la industria de la robótica marina y submarina mediante la creación de sinergias entre las distintas áreas tecnológicas involucradas:

– Plataformas y vehículos
– Sistemas de navegación y control
– Sensores y actuadores
– Sistemas de comunicación
– Sistemas de propulsión
– Materiales

  • Impulsar los sistemas robotizados y autónomos en el sector marítimo aprovechando las oportunidades de la industrias incipientes, siguiendo las iniciativas europeas de crecimiento azul
    Identificar las oportunidades industriales y comerciales, y las tecnolegiías requeridas en los principales ámbitos de aplicación en los océanos:

– Exploración y caracterización del océano.
– Identificación y explotación de Recursos.
– Proteción y preservación del medio marino
– Instalación, operación, mantenimiento y desmantelación de industrias offshore.

El Grupo Temático de Robótica Marítima (GTR Marítima) está cosntituido por distintas entidades que tienen relación con los robots submarinos a lo largo la vida de éste. Entre las entidades miembro del GT constan:
