We have received more than 2800 contributions that represent a new record in IROS history. Over 2200 papers have been submitted for regular papers, more than 500 submissions for IROS+RA-L papers, and more than 100 proposals for workshops and tutorials. Papers, videos, workshop, and tutorial proposals are under review now. Our editors and reviewers are working hard to meet the deadlines. Thanks for your support!
The first forum has been confirmed. Yoshihiko Nakamura, Giulio Sandini, and Carme Torras organize the forum “Robotics Meets the Humanities: Social Relationship, Ethics, Art and Science Fiction”. We will let you know more soon.
As for the IROS2018 Fan Robotic challenge, deadline for submission of videos for Phase I is open until March 31st. Don’t miss the opportunity to show us how dexterous you robot is manipulating a Spanish fan.
